What You Can Do
Connect your Etsy shop
Authorize Mockspark from Etsy, and connect more than one shop if you run several.
Publish products to Etsy
Push a designed product to Etsy as a real listing, with variants, prices, and photos.
Let buyers personalize
Give buyers a designer of their own, then produce exactly what they made.
Fulfill Etsy orders
Orders arrive on their own, get turned into print files, and go out to your print provider.
Before You Start
Three things need to be in place. An Etsy shop that can take payments
An Etsy shop that can take payments
Your shop has to be open and finished with Etsy’s payment setup. If you are still partway through it, Etsy will not let any app create listings in your shop, including this one. You can check by opening your Shop Manager. If Etsy keeps sending you back to the payment setup screen, that step is not done yet.
A production partner in your Etsy shop
A production partner in your Etsy shop
Etsy requires print-on-demand sellers to declare who physically makes their items. Publishing will fail without one, and Etsy’s error message for this is famously unhelpful. Etsy’s API cannot create a production partner, so you add it yourself in Shop Manager. Publish a Product to Etsy shows you where and what to write.
A Mockspark account
A Mockspark account
Sign up at app.mockspark.com with your email address. Etsy sellers do not install anything from the Etsy marketplace, so this is a normal account signup.
How the Pieces Fit
If you want the whole picture before you touch anything, including what Mockspark reads from your shop and why, read How Mockspark Works with Etsy first. It takes about five minutes. If you would rather get going, start with Connect Your Etsy Shop. The term ‘Etsy’ is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This application uses the Etsy API but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.
